Cooperation Including Development of Customized Programs Linking International Students to Employment
The Office of International Cooperation at Hoseo University announced on the 3rd that it has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with Korea Hukoku Co., Ltd. to operate a 'Foreign International Students Employment Connection Program.'
Through this agreement, both institutions agreed to collaborate on developing customized programs linking international students to employment, supporting tailored field learning for international students, and mutual human exchange for regional economic development.
At the international student recruitment briefing held after the signing ceremony, international students from six countries?China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, and Myanmar?currently enrolled at Hoseo University attended and showed strong interest in domestic employment after graduation.
Park Seol-ho, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Vice President, stated, “At a time when overcoming regional extinction and local labor issues makes the domestic employment and settlement of foreign international students crucial, this agreement holds great significance,” adding, “Hoseo University will continue industry-academic cooperation to support the employment of outstanding foreign talents and contribute to the local community.”
Meanwhile, Korea Hukoku Co., Ltd. is a mid-sized company located in Boryeong, Chungnam, producing automotive damper poles and wiper blades.
