Yoon: "Most Presidential Work Is for Children"
The Presidential Office announced on the 3rd that it has newly launched the 'Presidential Office Children's Website' in celebration of the 102nd Children's Day on the 5th.
The Presidential Office explained that the website was planned with a focus on children's perspectives under the theme of 'The Warm Presidential Office Delivered by a President Who Cares for Children.'
In his greeting on the website, President Yoon Suk-yeol said, "Most of what the president does is for you, children," adding, "We are always doing our best to create a happy country where children can play joyfully, dream freely, and grow up healthy."
The newly launched children's website is composed of sections such as Stories of the President, Stories of the Presidential Office, Our Proud Country, and Fun Learning Center.
In the 'Stories of the President' section, visitors can find explanations about the president's duties, past presidents, and see photos of President Yoon with children. The 'Stories of the Presidential Office' section includes introductions to the newly inaugurated Yongsan Presidential Office and the Yongsan Children's Garden, which was reborn from a former U.S. military base.
Additionally, the 'Fun Learning Center' section provides friendly Q&A-style explanations on topics children might be curious about, such as 'How does one become president?' and 'What is the government?'
The Presidential Office stated, "We plan to continuously provide useful information for children through the children's website going forward."
