Galaxia Moneytree announced on the 3rd that it will produce YouTube content with the YouTube sketch comedy channel 'Utgorism' and conduct a promotion to promote the 'Moneytree Card.'
The Moneytree Card, launched last year, is a rechargeable prepaid card that can be charged via mobile payment and then paid as the next month's communication bill. It is a card that allows mobile payment services, which were only available online, to be used offline as well.
Utgorism is a channel starring Jang Gi-young and Ryu Geun-il, former comedians from KBS's 25th and 26th public recruitment, and is a rising sketch comedy creator. The collaborative content features a concept where a couple using the Moneytree Card goes on a convenience store date.
To commemorate the collaboration, Galaxia Moneytree is holding an event until the 15th where applicants who apply for the Moneytree Card through the link below the video and verify their identity in the app will receive 10,000 won in Moneytree cash. This event is limited to the first 1,000 applicants and the cash can be used immediately with the Moneytree Card.
A representative of Moneytree Card said, "Through producing YouTube content, we want to promote the convenience of the Moneytree Card, which can be charged and used via mobile payment," adding, "We plan to provide many benefits to customers through various events in the future."
Meanwhile, the Moneytree Card has been rapidly growing, surpassing a monthly charging amount of 10 billion won in January. Additionally, it plans to enhance service convenience by supporting easy payment within the first half of the year.
