National Gwangju Science Museum Operates Nighttime Astronomical Observation Program

The National Gwangju Science Museum operates a nighttime celestial observation program in May at the Starlight Observatory, where visitors can observe the beautiful moon and stars in the night sky.

'Starlight School' is an educational program for celestial observation and will be held on the 16th. Participants can take a space journey in the planetarium, which replicates the night sky, find constellations, and directly observe the moon's craters using a reflecting telescope with a 1.2m diameter mirror.

'Night Sky Observation Leader' is an experiential educational program held on the 17th, where participants can set up a celestial telescope themselves, freely operate the telescope, and observe celestial bodies. Additionally, they can use their own mobile phones to photograph celestial objects and print their own astrophotographs as keepsakes.
