Guidebook on How to Fill Out the Application Form for Foreign Victims of Jeonse Fraud Published by Gyeonggi Jeonse Damage Support Center on the 3rd
The Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center published a "Foreigners-Only Guide" on the 3rd, which translates instructions on how to fill out application forms and information on required documents to facilitate damage reporting for foreign national tenants residing in the province.
This guide has been translated into three foreign languages?English, Chinese, and Russian?to assist foreign national tenants in completing application forms for designation as victims of Jeonse fraud under the Special Act.
In particular, actual photos of application forms and required documents such as certified copies of the register and payment order documents have been included, and it was created to allow accurate verification of details such as ▲whether there is a prior secured claim ▲seizure ▲decision to commence compulsory auction.
Foreign national tenants have previously experienced difficulties in counseling and filling out application forms due to guides written in Korean.
A representative of the Gyeonggi-do Jeonse Damage Support Center stated, "We expect that the publication of this foreign language guide will greatly help support foreign national tenants in the province."
The center plans to distribute the guide to 31 cities and counties within the province and make it available for free download on the Gyeonggi-do Housing Welfare Portal (https://housing.gg.go.kr).
