Striving to Build Safe Workplaces and Enhance Labor-Management Relations
Clean Country announced on the 3rd that it received the Presidential Citation at the '2024 Workers' Day Government Commendation Awards Ceremony' held on the 2nd at the Seoul Western Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The Workers' Day Government Commendation Awards recognize workers who have contributed to improving working conditions and fostering harmonious labor-management relations. This time, the Presidential Citation was awarded to Team Leader Lee Ho-eun of the Support Team working at the Cheongju factory.
Team Leader Lee joined Clean Country in 2008 and has been known for leading company development, maintaining labor-management relations, improving work processes, and enhancing capabilities. At this ceremony, Lee was recognized for efforts in creating a safer workplace and promoting labor-management relations, helping employees work in better environments across various fields. In 2022, based on mutual trust and cooperation with labor and partner companies, Lee significantly contributed to Clean Country achieving an A grade in the 'Safety and Health Co-prosperity Program' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Team Leader Lee expressed, "The projects I planned and carried out with the hope that colleagues who share many parts of daily life can work safely in better environments have led to good results."
A Clean Country official stated, "Enhancing employee satisfaction and establishing a safe workplace directly increases the company's competitiveness," adding, "We will continue to make steady efforts to secure and nurture excellent talent as well as to create sustainable employment."
