Implemented with a baseball stadium ground concept
to strengthen sports and local marketing efforts
GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 3rd that it has opened a flagship store themed around the professional baseball team Hanwha Eagles.
The flagship store is a newly renovated GS25 Timeworld branch in Daejeon, the home city of the Hanwha Eagles. The concept, featuring the Hanwha Eagles' signature colors and mascot, is reflected both inside and outside the store.

The center of the store's exterior features a large showcase with an orange background. Inside the showcase, a specially made 1.2-meter-tall sculpture of the Hanwha Eagles mascot 'Suri' is displayed. It was designed to express the theme of the specialized store and will serve as a key photo zone for visitors to take commemorative shots. An outdoor terrace that recreates the atmosphere of a baseball stadium is also provided. It includes a tasting table and chairs modeled after stadium seats, with a total of 12 seats.
The interior floor design is implemented with a baseball stadium ground concept. Near the entrance door, the home plate area is the center, with the 1st to 3rd bases decorated and convenience store products such as coffee from Cafe25 and generous home-cooked meal lunchboxes arranged accordingly. A dedicated corner for Hanwha Eagles goods is set up at the home plate, selling over 20 types of Hanwha Eagles merchandise including uniforms and hats.

At the Hanwha Eagles specialized store, which opened the day before, a business agreement ceremony for joint projects between the two companies was also held. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly promote ▲expansion of GS25 x Hanwha Eagles specialized stores in key areas of the Chungcheong region ▲joint local marketing ▲development of exclusive collaboration products for GS25 stores in the Chungcheong region.
Oh Jin-seok, Vice President and Head of GS Retail Platform BU, said, "We initiated this joint project with Hanwha Eagles to provide new fun and value to sports fans and local consumers who use GS25," adding, "We will focus on accelerating the joint project to revitalize the local economy and enhance customer satisfaction."
