It was reported that Geum Nana (41), a former Miss Korea Jin in 2002 and a university professor known for graduating from Harvard University in the United States, got secretly married 7 years ago.

Yoon Il-jeong, chairman of MDI Leisure Development, is a civil engineering expert with 36 years of experience. The resort he owns is famous as the filming location for dramas such as "Sorry, I Love You" (2004) and "Secret Garden" (2010?2011). Chairman Yoon is known as a patriarch in the construction industry.

A representative of Jeju Jungmun CS Hotel & Resort, known as the wedding venue, told Maeil Business Newspaper, "We are not aware of (the secret marriage). We have never heard such a story," but when asked, "Did Geum Nana visit the hotel often?" they replied, "We have seen her." Professor Geum Nana was born in 1983 and was selected as Miss Korea Gyeongbuk Jin in 2002 while attending Kyungpook National University Medical School. She quit medical school and went to study abroad in the United States, gaining attention for being admitted simultaneously to Harvard University and MIT. She majored in biochemistry at Harvard University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She obtained her Master of Science and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University and Harvard University.

Since 2017, she has been a professor in the Department of Food and Biotechnology at Dongguk University. Recently, she was appointed as the director of the Dongguk University Science Gifted Education Center. She has also published books such as "You and I Can Do It" (2004), "Geum Nana's Study Diary" (2005), and "Nana's Never-Ending Story" (2008).
