Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Begins 'Dialogue with Residents' in Sanggye 1-dong, Communication Administration at 19 Dong Resident Centers

On the 2nd, from 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 'Dialogue with Residents of Sanggye 1-dong with the Mayor' held in the multipurpose room on the 5th floor of the Sanggye 1-dong Community Center.

Mayor Oh will hold 'Dialogue with Residents' sessions at 19 community centers starting with Sanggye 1-dong from May 2 to May 28. The purpose is to present Nowon's vision to residents and to identify major local issues and administrative demands necessary for residents' lives through on-site conversations with them.

At the 'Dialogue with Residents of Sanggye 1-dong with the Mayor' event, about 200 people including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, National Assembly member Kim Seong-hwan, city and district council members, and local residents attended. The event proceeded in the order of guest introductions, greetings, presentation of Nowon District's 2024 vision, and dialogue with residents.

In the presentation of Nowon District's 2024 vision, Mayor Oh directly introduced to residents the major projects and local issues for carrying out the six key tasks of the 8th term of the elected mayor, including ▲development of the Gwangwoon University station area into a future complex city ▲creation of the Nowon Bio Complex ▲Suraksan Natural Recreation Forest.

Especially during the 'Dialogue with Residents,' the mayor listened to residents' suggestions and difficulties and responded immediately, creating a free and open communication atmosphere.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "We have prepared this dialogue with residents to actively identify major local issues and administrative demands necessary for residents' lives," and added, "We will continue to listen to the voices of district residents and carry out field-centered administration through steady communication."
