Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) is preparing a special visual treat for the permanent drone show at Nokdong Port at 9 PM on Saturday, May 4th, featuring a unique themed performance that allows children and their families to create fun and memorable experiences in celebration of Children's Day.
According to the county, the Children's Day commemorative performance will showcase a 3D content themed around 'Robocar Poli,' the beloved transforming robot character from the original animation series known as the guardian superhero of children. This immersive 3D content will light up the night sky above Nokdong Port, captivating the attention of children.
In addition to the drone show, the county will present a spectacular Firebird light show and a special mini RC car driving experience zone within the Nokdong Sea Garden, offering a variety of dazzling sights and enjoyable activities.
Notably, the Nokdong Port drone show will utilize the latest drone technology, featuring a fleet of 700 drones creating various shapes and colors to deliver stunning visual effects that inspire children's dreams and imaginations, promising an unforgettable memory for the young audience.
Meanwhile, in Bongrae-myeon, home to the Naro Space Center, the 14th Gohung Aerospace Festival and the 7th Narodo Clean Seafood Festival will be held simultaneously for three days starting May 4th. Beyond the drone show, there will be abundant attractions, activities, and food during the day, allowing children and families to enjoy a joyful time in Gohung.
The drone show in Gohung is conducted by a drone-specialized company that develops new drone content combining innovative swarm flight technology with artistic sensibility. The company presents magical aerial sculptural artworks synchronized with music in a safe manner, earning high satisfaction from spectators.
