Northern Chamber of Commerce Holds Extraordinary General Meeting on the 2nd and Elects Leadership for Three Years
Da-il Industrial Co., Ltd. CEO Sang-in Moon was reappointed as the 21st president of the Chungnam Northern Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to the Chungnam Northern Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a special general meeting was held on the 2nd to elect the new leadership for 2024.
At the special general meeting attended by 67 members, CEO Sang-in Moon was the sole candidate and was elected as the 21st president without a vote.
Additionally, CEO Woon-gon Kim of Kukbo Chemical Co., Ltd., CEO Kyung-seok Song of Korea Export Packaging Co., Ltd., Vice President Jung-tae Kang of Samsung Display Co., Ltd., Chairman In-seong Hwang of Hanseong T&I Co., Ltd., CEO Se-woo Han of Haeyu Construction Co., Ltd., and Executive Director Ki-soo Lee of Hyundai Motor Company were elected as vice presidents.
CEO Jung-yoon Lee of Green Narae Co., Ltd. and CEO Moon-soo Kim of Arario Co., Ltd. were elected as auditors, along with 25 standing members forming the new leadership team. Their term is three years.
President Sang-in Moon stated, “Based on the know-how and experience of the past three years, I will focus on three key areas: strengthening communication with member companies, sharing achievements, and fostering growth and development.”
He added, “To this end, we will operate the Central Region’s top-level CEO Academy for information collection, exchange, and utilization; hold regional meetings; run a venture investment club to nurture startup companies; and lead the organization in revitalizing the regional economy through the spread of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and ERT (Entrepreneurial Renewal Thinking).”
