BNK Gyeongnam Bank Expands 'Hope Moa Savings' Enrollment to Include Youth Preparing for Independence

Regular Savings Up to 5.7% Annual Interest
Flexible Savings Up to 4.7% Annual Interest

BNK Gyeongnam Bank is practicing win-win finance by expanding the subscription targets of financial products exclusively for the underprivileged.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank Expands 'Hope Moa Savings' Enrollment to Include Youth Preparing for Independence Financial Support for Youth Preparing for Independence.

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 2nd that it has expanded the subscription targets of the ‘Hope Moa Savings’ to include youth preparing for independence.


Hope Moa Savings is a high-interest financial product exclusively for the underprivileged, available to basic livelihood security recipients, child-headed households, earned income tax credit recipients, multicultural families (couples), persons with disabilities, single-parent family support beneficiaries, and those enrolled in the Youth Tomorrow Employment Deduction program.


With the expansion of subscription targets, youth preparing for independence who have not passed five years since the end of protection can now use Hope Moa Savings.


The regular installment type of Hope Moa Savings, which adds preferential interest rates to the basic interest rate, offers up to 5.7% per annum, and the flexible installment type offers up to 4.7% per annum. (Before tax)


The subscription amount ranges from a minimum of 10,000 KRW to a maximum of 300,000 KRW per month, with a subscription period of one year.

Hong Eung-il, Executive Director of the Customer Planning Headquarters, said, “Reflecting the increasing social issues regarding youth preparing for independence, we have included them in the subscription targets of Hope Moa Savings. We expect Hope Moa Savings to help youth preparing for independence take their first step into society by building their assets.”


Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank promised financial support for youth preparing for independence with World Vision on the 30th of last month and expanded the subscription targets of Hope Moa Savings to include youth preparing for independence.
