The intensive safety inspection is a nationwide disaster prevention activity implemented since 2015, where public institutions and citizens jointly diagnose safety in daily life and work to improve risk factors.

This year’s intensive safety inspection focuses on selecting 52 sites, concentrating on aging and high-risk facilities or areas with high public interest that require inspection, and conducting joint inspections by public and private sectors.

Cheongsong-gun plans to immediately address issues that can be corrected on-site, and if serious defects or risk factors are found, emergency safety measures such as repairs and reinforcements will be carried out to improve safety hazards.

Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “During this intensive safety inspection period, we ask all residents to voluntarily check for safety hazards around their daily lives and make thorough preparations before the summer typhoon or rainy season arrives.”
