Cheonan-si Selected as Best Institution in Chungnam Province Tax Administration Evaluation

Received High Scores in Revenue Contribution and Collection from High-Amount Delinquents

Cheonan City announced on the 2nd that it was selected as the best institution in the ‘2024 Local Tax Administration Comprehensive Evaluation’ conducted by Chungnam Province.

This annual evaluation, conducted for 15 cities and counties in the province, covered a total of six areas: local tax collection, arrears management, corporate tax audits, non-tax revenue collection, prevention of improper taxation, and local tax administration operations.

The city received high scores in various areas such as revenue contribution, collection from high-amount tax delinquents, and policy implementation, leading to its selection as the best institution.

A Cheonan City official stated, “This achievement is the result of the high tax payment awareness of Cheonan citizens and the efforts of tax officials for local tax collection,” adding, “We will continue to strive for trustworthy tax administration.”
