Eyes Entertainment, which develops entertainment content based on artificial intelligence (AI), announced on the 2nd that it has secured an additional investment of 6 billion KRW.
The investment included LB Investment and Stonebridge Ventures, participating with 5 billion KRW and 1 billion KRW respectively. With this investment, including the 10 billion KRW raised from Bon Angels Venture Partners in March, the company has completed a cumulative seed investment round totaling 16 billion KRW.
LB Investment, which participated in the investment, continues its second partnership with CEO Namgung Hoon. LB Investment previously invested 5 billion KRW in Engine, the predecessor of Kakao Games, in 2015. Stonebridge Ventures stated that they decided to invest because they judged that the business model combining AI and content, centered on the proven founding team including CEO Namgung, has the potential for rapid growth.
Based on this investment, Eyes Entertainment plans to concretize its entertainment-type AI services currently in preparation. Utilizing AI, the company intends to connect content tailored to user interests to form fandoms and present entertainment content that enables various interactions.
