At Cheonggye Plaza, Kyung Hee University, and Misa Rowing Park for Three Days
Kyungdong Navien announced that it will hold an eco-friendly condensing campaign, "One More Condensing," from the 2nd to the 4th to create a sustainable future along with condensing technology.
Kyungdong Navien planned this campaign inspired by the principle of condensing technology, which collects and reuses the heat escaping outside the boiler "one more time." Condensing boilers can reduce nitrogen oxides by about 87% annually, and carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide by 70.5% and 19%, respectively. Through this, one condensing boiler can have the effect of planting 137 20-year-old pine trees annually. In addition, with an energy efficiency of over 92%, it reduces gas usage by at least 28.4% compared to conventional boilers, saving about 440,000 KRW in gas costs annually.
The campaign will be held sequentially at Cheonggye Plaza, Kyung Hee University, and Hanam Misa Rowing Park. Consumers directly insert collected plastic waste into a vending machine inside a truck representing the Navien condensing boiler. After insertion, by solving a simple quiz related to condensing technology, they can receive goods made from recycled plastic and a boiler-shaped shopping bag.Consumers can directly experience the process of plastic waste becoming a forest, allowing them to feel the eco-friendly value of condensing technology.
Kim Yong-beom, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kyungdong Navien, said, "Kyungdong Navien prepared the ‘One More Condensing Campaign’ to make the eco-friendliness of condensing technology easier and more approachable," adding, "We hope many people will realize the importance of condensing technology through this campaign."
