He was recognized for his contributions to enhancing union members' rights, counseling and resolving workers' grievances, reducing labor market disparities through improvements in working conditions and treatment, and improving unfair labor-management practices. He also introduced systems to prevent industrial accidents and realize a safe workplace, and improved workers' quality of life with a sincere and exemplary attitude at industrial sites.

In the 2022 negotiations, he agreed to reform the shift work system, fully adopting a 4-team 2-shift system from the previous 4-team 3-shift system. He worked to improve workers' rights, including wage system improvements, and notably contributed to achieving 36 consecutive years without labor disputes, helping to establish and solidify a culture of coexistence between labor and management.

Chairman Moon has also contributed to the development of external labor-management relations by serving as the senior vice chairman of the Korean Federation of Trade Unions Ulsan Regional Headquarters, a labor-management civil consultation committee member of Ulju-gun, and a worker member of the Ulsan Local Labor Commission.
