Kumho Tire ‘KATC’ Selected as a Great Place to Work for Two Consecutive Years

Kumho Tire announced on the 2nd that it has been named one of the ‘2024 Best Places to Work’ by North American Rubber News for the second consecutive year.

This evaluation comprehensively scores environmental factors such as workplace culture, policies, and practices, as well as surveys related to employees’ personal experiences and attitudes toward the company, selecting qualified organizations. Through the human resource management organization ‘Workforce Resource Group,’ nine companies were selected from approximately 1,000 companies in North America (United States and Canada) involved in rubber production and processing with more than 15 employees.

Rubber News, which conducted the survey, is a leading media outlet covering issues in the North American rubber industry, alongside influential industry publications such as European Rubber Journal, PlasticsNews, and Tire Business, which cover the entire rubber industry including tires.

Kumho Tire’s North American technical research center, ‘KATC (KumhoAmerica Technical Center),’ which was selected as a ‘Best Place to Work’ for two consecutive years, was established in 1990 in Akron, Ohio, USA, and strives to develop products optimized for the U.S. market. In particular, it develops tires that meet the needs of North American consumers by acquiring and analyzing market trends and new technologies, and also plays a role in supporting overseas sales.
