Smooth Cooperation for the Construction Project of the Education Support Office and Hamyang Student Library
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that Park Jong-hoon, Superintendent of Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education, and Jin Byeong-yeong, Mayor of Hamyang County, took a walk together at Sangnim Park and discussed local educational issues.
Jin Byeong-yeong, the mayor of Hamyang County, and Park Jong-hoon, the superintendent of Gyeongnam Office of Education, are walking through Sangnim in Hamyang discussing educational issues.
This meeting was arranged during the break between schedules after Superintendent Park, who attended the local education business council held at the Hamyang Office of Education with vice principals and other members of the Hamyang educational community, utilized the free time.
On this day, they shared the progress of educational projects promoted by the county and agreed to closely cooperate through active communication between the education sector and local government in the future.
At the meeting, Mayor Jin requested Superintendent Park, saying, “We ask for the active interest and cooperation of the Provincial Office of Education to ensure the smooth progress of priority projects in Hamyang, such as the construction of the Education Support Office building and the Hamyang Student Library.”
Meanwhile, the library construction project, which is a long-cherished wish of Hamyang residents, was agreed to be prioritized at the Hamyang County Local Education Administrative Council held in February. In March, it passed the financial plan review of the Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education, and the design competition is planned for 2025.
