Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, stated that if President Yoon Seok-yeol proposes a dinner meeting, he would drop everything and go. On the 30th of last month, Jo appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kwon Soon-pyo's News High Kick' and responded this way when the host asked, "What would you do if the president requested a dinner meeting?" He further replied, "I think I could gladly drink as well" when asked if he could drink alcohol. He added, "I heard the president has a huge drinking capacity, so I probably can't drink as much as him," and said, "We can talk while drinking, or we can talk just as well without drinking."

Jo said, "The reason I wanted to meet President Yoon was to convey the raw public sentiment from the general election as it is," and added, "Many citizens I met shared messages they wanted to deliver to President Yoon and the Blue House, so it is my duty as an opposition politician to pass those messages to the president and to send warnings regarding the president's national policy direction."

When the host asked about the Yan Tai Gaoliang liquor that became a topic of conversation after Jo had dinner with Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, at a Chinese restaurant on the 25th and drank it, specifically inquiring, "I heard you drank two bottles; how much was that?" Jo replied, "Two bottles, each 250mL (small bottles)." When the host said, "I thought it was a 750mL large bottle," Jo responded, "One person can't drink 750mL," clarifying that his drinking capacity is not that much.
