Jungnang-gu Issues 4.8 Billion Won Discounted Jungnang Love Gift Certificates for Family Month

Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will issue Jungnang Love Gift Certificates worth 4.8 billion KRW at a discount on May 8th at 11 a.m. in celebration of Family Month.

The Jungnang Love Gift Certificates offer consumers a 5% discount and income deduction benefits when purchasing, making them economical, and have the advantage of no payment processing fees for small business owners.

Accordingly, the district plans to issue additional Jungnang Love Gift Certificates to ease the financial burden on residents during Family Month when household expenses increase, while simultaneously providing an opportunity for local small business owners to boost sales and revitalize the local economy.

The gift certificates can be purchased from 11 a.m. on May 8th through the dedicated app, Seoul Pay Plus, in units of 10,000 KRW up to a purchase limit of 500,000 KRW per person.

Even if you already own Jungnang Love Gift Certificates, you can purchase additional certificates as long as you do not exceed the maximum holding limit of 1,500,000 KRW per person. Additionally, the app’s “Gift” feature allows you to send purchased gift certificates to family or acquaintances.

The validity period is five years from the date of purchase, and unused gift certificates can be fully canceled and refunded at any time. Gift certificates that have been used for 60% or more of the purchase amount can also be refunded for the remaining balance excluding the discount amount.

Purchased gift certificates can be used at approximately 10,000 affiliated stores within Jungnang-gu, including traditional markets, restaurants, and bakeries. Detailed usage locations can be checked on the Seoul Pay Plus app.
