Gimhae Todeogi Pop-up Store Opens! ... 8 Limited Edition Products Available Until July 23

The 'Todeogi Popup Store' set up on Bonghwangdae-gil in Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, opened on the 1st.

As a special project for the 2024 Gimhae Visit Year, Gimhae City will operate the popup store themed around Gimhae's representative character Todeogi, titled 'A Small Gim~Happy World Introduced by Todeogi,' from this day until July 23.

The popup store, open only for a limited period, is directly managed by Todeogi, the Director of the Gimhae Promotion Bureau, and sells eight limited-edition products including Todeogi character film cameras, slippers, stickers, and carrier tags.

There are also Todeogi bedroom, Director To's office, and a giant Todeogi photo zone available.

At the opening ceremony of the popup store on this day, Vice Mayor An Kyung-won, Todeogi Promotion Director, Director of the Culture and Tourism Business Office, Tourism Section Chief, Chairman of the Bonghwangdae Cooperative, Vice Chairman of the Hoehyeon-dong Residents' Autonomy Association, and Chairman of the Community Leaders' Council attended.

Cultural tourism interpreters, Slow City citizen instructors, social network service (SNS) supporters, and youth supporters, who were appointed as citizen ambassadors for the 2024 Gimhae Visit Year in April, were also present.

Vice Mayor An said, "I hope the Todeogi popup store will be an opportunity to make our Gimhae City more familiar," and added, "I ask Director To, dispatched to the popup store, to do his best in welcoming visitors."
