Dedicated Professional Consultants and Admissions Experts... Customized Consulting

Busan Gijang-gun is officially launching the "One-on-One Customized Career and College Admission Consulting Support Project," which provides specialized career and admission consulting to college entrance exam students in collaboration with the entrance exam specialist education institution, 'Jongno Academy.'

Busan Gijang-gun Launches One-on-One Customized Career and College Admission Consulting for University Entrance Exam Students Notice for One-on-One Customized Career and College Admission Consulting for University Entrance Exam Students.

This project was initiated to support successful college admission and career paths by offering tailored consulting based on individual grades and aptitudes to local students, in preparation for the rapidly changing and complex university admission processes. Students can receive in-depth counseling from professional consultants and be presented with various options for college admission, while parents can reduce the burden of private education expenses and alleviate concerns about information gaps.

The first application period runs for five days from May 7 to May 11, with the first consultations starting on May 16. Applications can be submitted via QR code or online (opening mid-May), and it is mandatory to upload necessary documents such as report cards and student records for the consultation.

The target applicants are third-year high school students and repeaters (including N-sus) within the district, with plans to expand to first- and second-year high school students based on application status and trends.

Consultations will be conducted both offline and online, allowing students to choose their preferred method. The county will operate a total of eight sessions of student record consulting and admission strategy consulting, each month focusing on a specific consultation theme. However, regular and early admission interview consulting will be available from September to November and can only be applied for by students who have participated in the student record and admission strategy consulting.

Offline consultations will take place at the entrance exam cafe located in the Jeonggwan CGV building (Jeonggwan-ro, Jeonggwan-eup, Gijang-gun) and the 9th-floor lecture room of the Gijang-gun Office Citizen University. The entrance exam cafe operates from Wednesday to Friday (5 PM to midnight) and on Saturdays (9 AM to 1 PM), while the Citizen University operates on Wednesdays (7 PM to 9 PM) and Saturdays (2 PM to 8 PM). Each consultation session lasts approximately 40 to 50 minutes.

Online consultations are available from Monday to Sunday, with the same consultation duration as in-person sessions, and detailed schedules are coordinated with the students.

Additionally, the county plans to hold separate parent classes (scheduled for October) and admission briefings (scheduled for June and December) to address questions about college admissions and provide various information.

County Governor Jeong Jong-bok stated, "Gijang-gun is known as a city with high educational enthusiasm and many outstanding students, but being located on the outskirts of Busan geographically, parents are greatly concerned about disparities in various admission and educational information. We will actively support local students to achieve successful college admissions by providing not only diverse admission information but also systematic analysis and counseling on career and college entrance."
