Minister Lee Jong-ho of the Ministry of Science and ICT Inspects the Site Preparing for the Opening of the Space Aviation Agency

The Ministry of Science and ICT announced that Minister Lee Jong-ho and Yoon Young-bin, the appointed head of the Space Aviation Agency, visited the remodeling site of the temporary office building of the Space Aviation Agency in Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do on the 1st to check the move-in preparation status and discuss cooperation plans with local officials including the Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongsangnam-do and the Mayor of Sacheon.

Minister Lee thoroughly inspected the temporary office building where the Space Aviation Agency staff will work and received reports on the opening preparation status and plans for creating the office environment in the temporary building. He also listened to explanations from officials of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Government and Sacheon City Hall regarding residential conditions, support policies, and other initiatives being promoted locally in preparation for the opening of the Space Aviation Agency, and gathered opinions from the field. The Space Aviation Agency is scheduled to open on the 27th.
