The People Power Party announced on the 1st that it has nominated Assemblyman Bae Jun-young, who is currently serving as the acting Secretary-General, as the Secretary-General.

Assemblyman Bae was re-elected in the April 10 general election representing Incheon Jung-gu, Ganghwa, and Ongjin, and took on the role of acting Secretary-General after former Secretary-General Jang Dong-hyuk resigned shortly after the election.
Seo Ji-young, a party official and newly elected representative from Busan Dongnae, has been nominated as the Deputy Secretary-General for Strategic Planning, while Kim Jong-hyuk, the current Deputy Secretary-General for Organization, has been nominated to continue in his role.
The People Power Party plans to proceed with the formal appointment process after the Emergency Response Committee is launched.
