President Yoon Suk-yeol stated on Labor Day, May 1, "We will make workplaces safer and fairer for all workers."

On the morning of the same day, President Yoon explained through his social media (SNS) Facebook, "Labor is the driving force that protects individual freedom and family happiness while advancing our economy and society."

President Yoon said, "The reason South Korea has achieved its remarkable growth is thanks to the sweat and efforts of all workers," and added, "I thank the 28.4 million workers."

He continued, "My administration and I will definitely protect the precious value of labor," emphasizing, "We will carefully ensure that people can find meaning in life through work."

He added, "To all workers in South Korea, stay strong!"
