Eunpyeong-gu Issues 7.2 Billion Won Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates for Family Month in May

Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it will sell Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates worth 7.2 billion KRW at a 5% discount on the 8th in celebration of Family Month in May.

The Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates can be purchased starting from 4 PM on May 8. The purchase limit is up to 500,000 KRW per person per month, and the holding limit is 1.5 million KRW. Buyers can receive a 5% discount and income deduction benefits, and the certificates can be used at any Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificate affiliated stores within the region.

To purchase and use the Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates, users must download the upgraded ‘Seoul Pay+’ app in advance from ‘Google Play’ or the ‘App Store’. Registering accounts or cards beforehand for bank transfers or card payments can shorten the purchase time.

Since the purchase and use of gift certificates are integrated into the ‘Seoul Pay+’ app, they cannot be used with the existing Shinhan SOL Bank, T-money Pay, Money Tree, or Shinhan SOL Pay apps linked to the previous 'Seoul Pay+'.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “With this issuance, we hope to help reduce the financial burden on residents whose expenses may increase during Family Month.” She added, “We also expect that local consumption will be revitalized, leading to increased sales for small business owners.”
