Through the ‘Macheon 3 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project’ in Macheon-dong, Songpa-gu, a multi-unit residential complex of 25 buildings, ranging from 5 basement floors to 25 above-ground floors, with 2,364 households (400 public housing units and 1,964 sale housing units) will be constructed.
Two public pedestrian passages are planned to allow walking from the adjacent western district to the eastern school site for commuting, providing a pleasant walking environment and resting spaces. Additionally, the site was divided into several plates to establish a plan that adapts to the terrain’s elevation differences, and a social mix was applied without discrimination between sale housing and public housing to plan the household layout in the architectural plan.

Publicly accessible open spaces were created at key routes on the north, central, and south sides of the site, and considering the scale of the complex, auxiliary facilities were separately planned for each main building to enhance convenience.
Additionally, a street-type shopping area was planned along the eastern adjacent residential complex to create a lively street environment, and to activate the public pedestrian passage running north-south through the site, diverse spaces were planned with street-type shops and landscaped areas along the walkway.
