Recruitment of Companies Participating in Overseas Certification Acquisition Support Project

Partial Support for Costs of Obtaining Certification Required by Export Target Countries

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 1st that it is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the '2024 General Track 2nd Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition Support Project.'

This project provides up to 100 million KRW per company to cover part of the costs required for obtaining certifications demanded by export target countries, such as certification fees, testing fees, and consulting fees, for SMEs wishing to export. To enable rapid support, the program is divided into a Fast Track, which shortens the evaluation period, and a General Track that supports the acquisition of 536 other types of certifications.

The 2nd recruitment for the General Track will support approximately 200 companies with the costs of acquiring 536 overseas certifications required by export target countries such as Europe, the United States, and China. The Fast Track accepts applications on a rolling basis until August 30. Companies seeking to obtain any of the seven Fast Track certifications must apply through the Fast Track, while other certifications should be applied for through this General Track.

Choi Won-young, Director of Global Growth Policy at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, stated, “As global protectionism intensifies, the demand for overseas certification support among SMEs is increasing. The Ministry will continue to meet this demand through the Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition Support Project.”
