According to Mokpo Police Station, the Sanjeong Volunteer Crime Prevention Unit, selected as the Best Volunteer Crime Prevention Unit this time, received high scores for various activities such as crime prevention diagnosis in crime-vulnerable areas, participation in improving security environments including suggestions for local government facilities and improvements, joint night patrols with cooperative organizations, and youth guidance through the ‘Love Choco Pie Campaign’.
About 30 people attended the ‘Best Volunteer Crime Prevention Unit’ certificate awarding ceremony, including the Head of the Life Safety Department of Jeonnam Provincial Police Agency, the Chief of Mokpo Police Station, Jo Palseok, President of the Jeonnam Volunteer Crime Prevention Association, Kang Jonghyun, Chief of Mokpo Volunteer Crime Prevention Association, and the Chief of Sanjeong Volunteer Crime Prevention Unit.
