[Breaking] Prosecution raids forensic company for mobile phones of Lee Jeong-seop Deputy Chief Prosecutor's residence and brother-in-law

The prosecution conducted a search and seizure of Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lee Jeong-seop's residence and the forensic company handling the mobile phone of Lee's brother-in-law.

The Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Seung-ho) on the 30th searched and seized Lee's residence and the mobile phone forensic company of his brother-in-law, Jo, in connection with the case filed against Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lee, securing mobile phone-related data.

Previously, Kang Mi-jung, spokesperson for the Party for Innovation of Korea and wife of Lee's brother-in-law, claimed that various evidence of Deputy Chief Prosecutor Lee's misconduct was stored on Jo's mobile phone.
