The 'Samsung Olympic Experience Center' was completed through a design collaboration with French architect Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Prize, known as the Nobel Prize of architecture. Inspired by the 'salon,' a 17th-century French space where culture, art, and knowledge were exchanged, the experience center is a communication space designed based on Samsung Electronics' openness, incorporating Jean Nouvel's design philosophy that beautifully expresses the beauty of light.
Architect Jean Nouvel said, "Every space in the Samsung Olympic Experience Center was designed to express Samsung Electronics' brand spirit of openness," adding, "We used graphics that capture the countless movements of light to visually showcase Galaxy's innovation."
The 'Samsung Olympic Experience Center' will officially open on May 3 and operate until October 31. Anyone who wants to experience the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics can visit freely, and various events will be held. Visitors can experience the innovative features of 'Galaxy AI' through various games featuring new Olympic sports such as breaking and skateboarding, as well as short-form video shooting. The center also includes a space where visitors can see all past Olympic edition phones at a glance and learn about Galaxy's partnership story.
In addition to the Champs-?lys?es location, Samsung Electronics plans to open and operate additional 'Samsung Olympic Experience Centers' at the Olympic Park, Athletes' Village, and Media Center during the Olympic period. 'Samsung Galaxy Charging Stations' will also be operated at major venues.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics has released a new global Olympic advertisement. Members of Team Samsung Galaxy and Olympic challengers ▲ Aur?lien Giraud (France, skateboarding) ▲ Johannes Floors (Germany, para athletics) ▲ Sarah V (France, breaking) deliver the message "Open always wins," conveying that with an open mind, infinite possibilities open up and amazing things become possible.
