Gwangju National Science Museum Successfully Hosts Spring Night Science Festival for Adults

The Science Night Festival is a science culture program designed for adults to enjoy science culture by taking a break from their busy daily lives. This time, the theme was "Stars and the Universe."

Starting with catering that provided beer sponsored by the local company OB Beer along with finger foods, various experiential programs were held, including stories about constellations visible in the spring sky, astronomical observation using the country's largest 1.2M aperture main telescope, and jazz performances themed around stars and the universe.

One participant said, "It was great to leisurely experience science culture after work. I definitely want to participate in the next Science Night Festival."

Researcher Han Sumin stated, "We are very grateful to all participants who showed such enthusiastic responses. We will continue to plan various science culture programs to make the science museum a complex cultural space that people of all ages, from youth to adults, can enjoy."
