Gyeongju Expo Admission Fee 50%
'Spreading Atmosphere to Overcome Low Birthrate'
Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation will offer a 50% discount on weekday green fees year-round for multi-child golfers at Gyeongju Bomun Golf Club and Andong Lake Golf Club, both operated by the corporation, starting from Family Month in May.
In response to the serious social issue of low birth rates, Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation is implementing this discount policy to support multi-child families and promote a social atmosphere encouraging childbirth, in line with the policies prioritized by Gyeongbuk Province to overcome low birth rates.
The half-price discount for multi-child families applies to customers with two or more children under the age of 18. They can receive the benefit by presenting a family relation certificate and identification at the entrance to prove their multi-child status.
Kim Nam-il, President of Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, stated, “This discount for multi-child families is implemented to spread social awareness about low birth rates. We will expand this policy to all business sites operated by the corporation and take a leading role as a public enterprise.”
Starting May 1, Gyeongju Expo Park, also operated by Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation, will increase the admission fee discount for multi-child families (two or more children aged 13 or younger) from the existing 20% to 50%.
