According to Seo-gu on the 30th, the Public Relations Office New Media Team attracted attention by leading the restructuring of SNS content from a supplier-centered to a demand-centered approach.
In particular, they provided customized information based on residents' needs, demands, and what they want to know, and restructured the rigid and difficult-to-understand official documents into easy words and images.
They also produced differentiated content tailored to the characteristics of each SNS channel, increasing user satisfaction, and strengthened policy promotion to encourage residents' interest and participation in district administration.
As a result, the number of subscribers to the three major SNS channels (KakaoTalk Channel, Blog, Instagram) was the highest among the five autonomous districts, and the KakaoTalk Channel subscribers more than doubled in a year and a half, achieving significant outcomes.
Lee Ji-eun, head of the Pharmaceutical Management Team at the Health Center, promoted the ‘Pharmaceutical Organization Public-Private Cooperation 1:1 Coupling Project,’ which matches welfare projects and sponsors on a one-to-one basis to provide continuous services.
To help welfare blind spots that are desperately in need but beyond the scope of government, she achieved 59 sponsors and about 127 million won in sponsorship funds, earning recognition for practicing Seo-gu’s unique ‘Noblesse Oblige.’
To prevent the social issue of drug abuse and misuse, Lee Ji-eun led Gwangju’s first ‘Anonymous Drug Testing’ and actively promoted preventive projects such as providing free simple kit tests to residents suspected of drug exposure.
At the commendation ceremony, Seo-gu Mayor Kim I-gang said, “Team leader Lee Ji-eun actively promoted the public-private cooperation 1:1 coupling project, enabling the creation of a ‘Kind City Seo-gu’ that approaches neighbors in need with a warm heart,” and added, “Please continue to do your best to collaborate continuously with pharmaceutical organizations.”
He also said to the New Media Team, selected as the MVP team for the first half of the year, “The various video planning and content production of the Public Relations Office have elevated the dignity of our Seo-gu,” and added, “Please continue to strive for a warm living government and promote Seo-gu.”
