The 'Safe Zone for Women-Headed Households' is a project the city has been promoting since last year to create a region where women can live safely under the vision of 'a city safe for women, a city happy for all.' In Naeri, Daedeok-myeon, the city has been implementing 11 projects under three main strategies: ▲creating a safe living environment ▲establishing bright and clean streets ▲building a safe city together.

To this end, the city installed 20 voice recognition emergency bells in the area and designated 23 convenience stores as 'Women’s Safety Keeper Houses.' Additionally, plans include improving streetlight brightness, strengthening local patrols, and conducting environmental cleanup activities.

Meanwhile, about 200 people attended the event, including Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, the chairperson of the city council, the chief of Anseong Police Station, the principal of Gwangdeok Elementary School, and local residents. Mayor Kim said, "We will make greater efforts so that everyone can walk safely and children can play freely in a clean environment."
