Gyeongnam Nonghyup Holds 'Agricultural Machinery Bank Leading Nonghyup Council Regular General Meeting'

Discussion on Strengthening Agricultural Support and Expanding the Agricultural Machinery Bank Project Direction

On the 30th, Gyeongnam Nonghyup held the '2024 Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Agricultural Machinery Bank Leading Nonghyup Council Regular General Meeting' at the Nonghyup Gyeongnam Headquarters conference room, attended by 15 heads of leading agricultural machinery bank Nonghyups in the region.

At the general meeting, agenda items such as the 2023 business settlement report and the 2024 business plan were approved, and discussions were held on plans to promote key projects in 2024, supply new agricultural machinery, and expand the area of delegated farming work, aiming to revitalize the agricultural machinery bank business.

Chairman Choi Nak-moon said, "Delegated farming work significantly contributes to reducing farming costs and increasing farm income through efficient use of agricultural machinery," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide more support to farms by activating customized direct management projects and delegated farming work in field agriculture."

Director Jo Geun-su stated, "The Nonghyup agricultural machinery bank business is an essential project that can resolve the shortage of farming labor, which is becoming increasingly difficult due to rural aging," and urged, "Please take the lead in increasing the area of delegated farming work centered on leading agricultural machinery bank Nonghyups to enhance the practical benefits for farmers."
