High Interest Due to Drama 'Queen of Tears' Popularity
HS Ad announced on the 30th that it will collaborate with Hanwha General Insurance and Homeplus to run a collaboration advertisement featuring the brand ambassadors, actors Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun.
As the drama "Queen of Tears," starring the two actors, ended after setting a new record for the highest viewership in the history of the broadcasting station, HS Ad explained that the collaboration advertisement maximized the synergy between the drama and the advertising campaign.

HS Ad began airing outdoor advertisements on the LED billboard located at Hongdae Entrance Station starting from the 26th, just before the end of "Queen of Tears." When viewed separately, the two ads appear as individual brand advertisements, but when placed side by side, it looks as if the characters from the drama are having a conversation.
This advertisement was made possible because HS Ad is simultaneously managing the advertising campaigns for both Hanwha General Insurance and Homeplus brands. Hanwha General Insurance launched the brand campaign "Adding Strength to the Start" in March with actor Kim Ji-won as the model. Around the same time, Homeplus released the "Homeplun Exclusive Super Sale for the 27th Anniversary" advertisement with the concept "You Have to Run to Survive," featuring actor Kim Soo-hyun. Both advertising campaigns were produced by HS Ad.
An HS Ad representative explained, "We aimed to deliver messages fitting each brand’s identity as an insurance company and a retailer, such as 'I will be your strength! (Hanwha General Insurance)' and 'I will help you save! (Homeplus),' while providing the fun impression that the drama characters are having a conversation."
This collaboration advertisement will be showcased on the LED billboard at Hongdae Entrance Station until the 2nd of next month.
