Dankook University Hospital Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Commemorative Event

All Resources and Capabilities to Be Mobilized for Medical Advancement and Community Welfare Improvement

Dankook University Hospital held its 30th anniversary event on the 29th.

The ceremony was attended by more than 300 people, including Jang Ho-seong, Chairman of the Dankook University Foundation, Kim Jae-il, Hospital Director, and other key officials and staff members. The event included the screening of a promotional video commemorating the 30th anniversary, the dedication of the 30-year history book, awards for the winning slogan entries, a wheelchair donation from the Medical School Alumni Association, commemorative speeches, and congratulatory addresses.

In particular, there was a time to dedicate the 30-year history book, which was written over the course of about a year by the 30th Anniversary Compilation Committee. The 30-year history book of Dankook University Hospital contains the hospital’s historical overview, medical performance records, and departmental histories covering the status of major centers and departments.

The award ceremony for the slogan contest, held for a month from March targeting the general public and staff, was also held. The grand prize was awarded to “30 years connecting the past and present, towards a future of challenge and innovation! (Jeon Hyeok-jin).”

Remembering the hospital’s brilliant achievements over the past 30 years, I ask that you continue to strive to leap forward as a world-class medical institution through Dankook University Hospital’s unique specialization and professionalization.”

Hospital Director Kim Jae-il stated, “Recognizing the heavy responsibility, let us mobilize all our capabilities and resources not only to fulfill the role of a tertiary general hospital but also as the responsible medical institution for the Chungnam region to advance the medical field and improve community welfare.”
