HP Unveils AI PC Series for Consumers and Professionals... "Birth of an Innovative Companion Device"

HP unveiled consumer AI PCs and business AI PC series for the first time in Korea on the 30th. They introduced customized products for general consumers and professionals.

On the morning of the same day, HP held a press conference at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul to commemorate the launch of the new HP AI PC products, revealing four new products and their AI PC business strategy.

Kim Daehwan, CEO of HP Korea, said in his welcoming speech, "The launch of a more 'personalized' AI PC by HP is a moment when an innovative companion device is born," adding, "We plan to embed AI technology, which will be a game changer in all fields, into devices that continuously adapt to changing consumer lifestyles, providing more personalized PCs than ever before."

First, the consumer two-in-one laptop, 'HP Spectre x360 16-inch laptop,' features a 360-degree rotation function. It is equipped with various security features such as 'Work Away Lock,' which automatically locks the device when the user leaves their seat, utilizing a high-performance AI chip. It also includes battery, pen, and processor monitoring functions to prevent power waste.

The 'HP Omen Slim 14-inch gaming laptop' is the lightest product among 14-inch laptops. It is equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 mobile graphics processing units (GPU), providing an optimal gaming experience for players.

The business AI PC 'HP EliteBook 1040 G11' features Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 processors, a 2.8K OLED display, backlight and low-light adjustment, and a '5MP camera' with backlight and low-light adjustment and auto-framing functions. AI video editing speed has increased by up to 132% compared to previous devices.

The 'HP ZBook Power G11' is equipped with the NVIDIA RTX 3000 Ada Generation graphics card specialized for AI computation. It is designed to allow IT professionals, entertainment industry workers, and others handling complex workflows to work easily from anywhere.

CEO Kim said, "The technology that will lead the PC market in the future is AI, and HP AI PC technology will lead industry trends," adding, "(AI PCs) will be an important momentum bringing spring to the PC market."

So Byunghong, Executive Vice President of HP Korea's Personal Systems Category, said, "There will be many difficulties and problems related to AI technology," but added, "HP will continue to invest in new training and development programs to ensure AI technology can be applied to all future jobs."
