Gifts Provided on a First-Come, First-Served Basis to 300 Visiting Children

The Goseong Market Merchants Association will hold an event on May 5th, Children's Day, for children visiting Goseong Market from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the outdoor stage area within Goseong Market.

The Merchants Association organized this event again this year to give children memories of the traditional market, continuing from last year.

Children visiting Goseong Market on the 5th can receive snacks (300 sets) prepared by the Merchants Association on a first-come, first-served basis, and various prize events are also planned.

Additionally, the Goseong Market Cultural Tourism Market Development Project Group, which is preparing for this year’s specialized market project, is also preparing side events to welcome the young visitors.

Chae Su-yeon, president of the Goseong Market Merchants Association, said, “This event was prepared to give a special experience at the market to children, the future consumers of Goseong Market.” She added, “We hope the children will smile through the snack gifts and prize events and enjoy a pleasant time with their families.”

Meanwhile, Goseong Market will operate a Saturday Market again from the end of May this year, following last year. Reflecting on the shortcomings and merchants’ requests from last year’s project, the Saturday Market will be held on the last Saturday of each month from May to October to showcase the unique charm of Goseong Market.
