Chung-Ang University Signs Student and Academic Exchange Agreement with Hai Phong University, Vietnam

Chung-Ang University recently announced on the 29th that it has signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Student and Academic Exchange' with Haiphong University in Vietnam.

Through this agreement, Chung-Ang University and Haiphong University have decided to establish a broad cooperation system encompassing student exchange, academic exchange, and faculty exchange. In particular, they plan to discuss cooperation methods that can benefit the region, such as in the startup sector.

Haiphong University is located in Haiphong City, the third largest city in Vietnam and one of the five centrally governed cities in Vietnam alongside Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, and Can Tho. Established in 1959, it currently operates under a system of 12 colleges and offers 30 bachelor's, 6 master's, and 2 doctoral programs.

Park Sang-kyu, President of Chung-Ang University, stated, "With this agreement, Chung-Ang University and Haiphong University have formed a mutually cooperative relationship in education, research, and economic development," adding, "We will continuously strive to ensure active exchanges among members of both institutions."

Chung-Ang University is steadily strengthening its cooperation system with Vietnam. Last year, Chung-Ang University signed a mutual development MOU with Duy Tan University in Vietnam and a mutual cooperation MOU with the Korean Business Association in Vietnam. Additionally, it agreed to collaborate with Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) in Vietnam to establish an IT-based new technology convergence college.
