9.81 Park Jeju to Host 'Gupalil All-Day Festival 2024'

9.81 Park Jeju, which has become a must-visit summer travel course where visitors can enjoy various activities and food while overlooking the open Jeju sea, is hosting the ‘Gupalil All-Day Festival 2024’.


First introduced last summer and receiving great response from the MZ generation, the ‘Gupalil All-Day Festival’ is the only summer festival in Jeju. This year, it will be held outdoors on the grounds from May 4th through the end of August, with special extended hours during the holiday period from May 4th to 6th. Notably, the festival will showcase fresh enjoyment unique to 9.81 Park Jeju through collaborations with ‘Better Weekend,’ a leader in trail running culture, outdoor lifestyle brand ‘Snow Peak,’ and tattoo artist and graphic artist ‘hippi.’


At the ‘Gupalil All-Day Festival 2024,’ visitors can enjoy live DJ performances featuring diverse music genres by DJ Kico, Hogi, RTRP, and others at the 981 Chill-Out Zone set against the backdrop of the Jeju sea. The 981 Chill-Out Zone will be enhanced with tarps prepared in collaboration with ‘Snow Peak’ to elevate the outdoor festival mood. Additionally, the ‘Gravity Pong’ event, a reinterpretation of the beer pong game unique to 9.81 Park Jeju, will captivate all visitors during the festival period. Everyone visiting 9.81 Park Jeju during the festival can participate and win various prizes such as the popular ‘Trophy Balloons,’ brand store ‘Garage 981’ merchandise, and 9.81 Park’s signature snack ‘Trophy Bread.’


Special collaborations embodying the uniqueness of 9.81 Park are also underway. The magazine ‘Better Weekend,’ which leads sustainable trail running culture, and the ‘Jeju Running Crew,’ who run through the beautiful Jeju, will hold the ‘Jeju Gravity Trail Race’ in conjunction with the ‘Gupalil All-Day Festival 2024.’ Centered around Cheondeok-ro in Aewol-eup, Jeju City, the race features 10km and 20km courses and will take place at 9.81 Park Jeju on June 1st. It has already attracted about 230 applicants, receiving great enthusiasm.


A collaboration with ‘hippi,’ a tattoo artist with a strong fan base and graphic artist, is also in preparation. Inspired by ‘Jeju Island,’ his original artworks will be featured on T-shirts, hats, tumblers, and more, available at ‘Garage 981.’ During the Gupalil All-Day Festival, the original artworks will be exhibited, expected to inspire many travelers visiting Jeju.

Festival-limited food items perfect for the outdoor event, such as ‘Black Pork Taco’ and ‘Black Pork Nacho Platter,’ will also be available. The new menu features pulled pork made by sous-vide cooking Jeju black pork for 12 hours to enhance flavor and texture, perfectly paired with the summer-only green tangerine beer ‘Cheonggyure-Ale.’ Detailed information about the ‘Gupalil All-Day Festival 2024’ program, schedule, and ticketing?including drinks like ‘Black Pork Taco’ and ‘Sinnandan Soda’?can be found on the 9.81 Park dedicated app and Instagram. Tickets can be purchased via the 9.81 Park app and Naver reservation, with on-site purchase available depending on circumstances.


Meanwhile, ‘9.81 Park Jeju,’ located in Aewol-eup, Jeju City, officially opened in July 2020 as a theme park applying advanced technologies such as robotics, IoT, artificial intelligence, and vision recognition to offer new activity culture to tourists visiting Jeju.
