Chungnam Province Wins 'Excellence Award' at Korea's Representative Festival Expo

Activation of the Tourism Industry Including Development of Stay-Type Tourism Products

Chungnam Province announced on the 29th that it won the Excellence Award in the marketing category at the 4th Korea Representative Festival Expo held recently.

The expo, held at BEXCO in Busan, featured participation from 116 organizations nationwide, operating 283 booths.

The province promoted the 2025-2026 Chungnam Visit Year, Taean World Tulip Flower Expo, Gongju Seokjang-ri Paleolithic Festival, Seosan Haemieupseong Festival, and Buyeo Seodong Lotus Festival, among others.

Chungnam Province was recognized for its contribution to revitalizing the tourism industry through the development of stay-type tourism products and promotional marketing that highlights the taste and charm of Chungnam, receiving the Excellence Award in the marketing category at the Best Festival Awards ceremony.

Song Mugyeong, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Chungnam Province, said, "It is an honor to receive the Excellence Award at the largest nationwide expo promoting representative festivals across the country ahead of the Chungnam Visit Year," adding, "We will widely promote the excellence of Chungnam's festivals to help revitalize the tourism industry and local economy."
