At the briefing hosted by the Seoul Agricultural Technology Center, Hamyang-gun presented various rural job opportunities and successful cases of return-to-farming and rural settlement through effective promotion such as consulting for successful settlement, job creation, and government policy projects for urban residents dreaming of returning to farming and rural living, receiving great responses.

In particular, under the theme "Clean Return to Farming, A Place You Must Live Once, Hamyang ? The Best Choice for Return to Farming and Rural Settlement," Hamyang actively introduced its unique policies including its prime location as a transportation hub with pristine natural environment, the image of Korea’s top clean healing city, the only residential-type startup support center in Gyeongnam for farming settlement education facilities, youth settlement cases, and self-driven support policies.

Along with this, promotion of the 63rd Cheollyeong Cultural Festival, held from May 9 to 13, was also conducted, highlighting Hamyang as "Cheollyeong’s Dream Travel No.1 Destination," which preserves tradition and opens the future.

A county official stated, “We introduced Hamyang’s various return-to-farming and rural settlement support policies and excellent agricultural products,” adding, “We will continue to make greater efforts to create a desirable Hamyang by developing diverse policies and support measures that help returnees and settlers.”
