Experience Events and Flea Market Operated at 53 Booths
Daejeon Seo-gu announced that it will hold the 102nd Children's Day event at Sammeori Park area at 10 a.m. on the 5th of next month.
Under the theme "Children's Shining Dreams! Seo-gu Together," performances such as a congratulatory performance by the Daejeon Citizen Astronomical Observatory Children's Choir, a super bubble show, and a magic show will be held.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., experience events will be held at 23 booths including drone basketball, VR experience, calligraphy, caricature, and carbon-neutral soap making, and a flea market with 80 teams of children and families will also be open.
At the food booths, foods that children and families can enjoy such as tteokbokki, hot bar, madeleine, and patbingsu will be offered at affordable prices.
Seo Cheol-mo, the head of Seo-gu, said, "We are thoroughly preparing various programs and safety management to support the shining dreams of children," and added, "We hope many families participate and create joyful memories."
In case of rain on the day of the event, the event will be held on the 1st and 2nd floors inside the Seo-gu Office.
