LG Chem is showing a strong gain of over 4% following news of its entry into the vehicle sunroof film market.
As of 9:15 AM on the 29th, LG Chem is trading at 388,500 KRW, up 4.02% from the previous trading day.
On the same day, LG Chem announced that it signed an order contract for SGF (Switchable Glazing Film) with Germany's Webasto. Webasto is a well-known company in the automotive sunroof system sector.
LG Chem will supply SGF to Webasto for several years, and Webasto plans to install advanced sunroof systems on European finished vehicles.
