Applications Accepted from the 1st to the 10th of Every Month, Paid with Eunpyeong Sarang Gift Certificates
Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that starting May 1, it will launch the "Certification Exam Fee Support Project" to reduce the financial burden of job preparation for unemployed youth and enhance their employment competitiveness.
Eligible exams include language tests (16 types), the Korean History Proficiency Test, national technical certifications (547 types), national professional qualifications (204 types), and nationally accredited private qualifications (96 types). Exam fees will be paid up to a maximum of 100,000 KRW per person in Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates. Applications are accepted for exams actually taken in 2024, regardless of pass or fail status.
Applicants must reside in Eunpyeong-gu as of the announcement date, be between 19 and 39 years old, and be unemployed or have no business registration as of the application date. However, public job participants or short-term workers can receive support upon submission of supporting documents.
Youth wishing to apply can do so online via the Eunpyeong-gu Office website or by visiting the Social Economy Division of Eunpyeong-gu Office from the 1st to the 10th of each month. Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis and will end early if the budget is exhausted.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "We hope this will provide practical help for young people to take a step forward toward employment," adding, "We will continue to actively support the steps of youth toward their future."
