Theater Company Babasauce, Official Selection of Seoul Theater Festival, Presents 'Aneun Saram Doegi'

Seoul Theater Festival Opens May 1 with 8 Officially Selected Performances
Daehangno Arts Theater Small Theater from May 31 to June 9

The theater company Babasaucers will perform "Becoming Someone You Know," an official selection of the 45th Seoul Theater Festival, at the Daehangno Arts Theater Small Theater from May 31 to June 9.

"Becoming Someone You Know" is a work that explores prejudice and hatred in modern society and seeks solutions for coexistence. It premiered last year.

The play is structured as an omnibus consisting of three episodes. Each story is based on the real experiences of the actors, enhanced with dramatic situations, and each episode addresses the themes of "Prejudice," "Inherited Scars," and "Dichotomy." After the performances on June 1 and June 8, there will be a talk session with the audience.

Director Eunjin Lee said, "'Becoming Someone You Know' started from discovering the hearts of daily lives divided by the national division. We wanted to ask whether we can overcome the precarious cracks of prejudice, hatred, dichotomous thinking, and the division of friend and foe to live well with others, and whether becoming someone you know makes this possible."
