The fee for using the event’s play facilities is 1,000 KRW in total. This amount covers the cost of rides, air bounce, and craft experiences, allowing unlimited rides and playtime without restrictions once paid. No advance reservation is required; visitors can come directly to the event site on the day.
Various hands-on booths for families to enjoy together will also be operated at one side of the Culture Plaza. A total of 17 booths will be available, including ▲pottery electric wheel ▲hand-painting pottery pendants ▲rainbow butterfly making ▲carnation headband making ▲pinwheel and balloon making ▲Children’s Day wish tree, along with a Children’s Day quiz contest and Gangbuk-gu character Gangbaeki cotton candy event.
At the entrance of the Culture Plaza, a "Food Zone" filled with various food options will be operated. At the mobile photo zone, visitors can take commemorative photos with Gangbuk-gu character Gangbaeki, Pororo and friends, and Air Avatar.
The district has set up a comprehensive situation room for the safety of citizens attending the event and will operate a pre-fingerprint registration booth for missing children prevention run by the Gangbuk Police Station.
Additionally, event staff and safety managers will be deployed throughout the event area, and exemplary drivers will be stationed at the parking lot entrance to ensure crowd and facility safety management. Medical staff will be on standby at the emergency medical booth and will provide first aid and promptly transport patients to hospitals if necessary.
In particular, staff and safety personnel will be assigned to each amusement ride, and usage time per ride will be limited to within 5 minutes to thoroughly prevent safety accidents.
Buk Seoul Dream Forest was the site of Dream Land amusement park until 2008, a place filled with childhood memories for many parents. How about recalling those days and returning to childlike innocence at this year’s Gangbuk-gu Children’s Day Festival?
Mayor Lee Soon-hee of Gangbuk-gu said, "To celebrate Family Month and Children’s Day, we are holding the Children’s Day Festival for the first time this year so that families can create happy memories. We will continue to spare no support to ensure that the future generations who will lead Korea can grow up happily and safely."
